This small project was started on a non profit basis in November 2003. A group of Dutch ladies had the initiative to support 8 Namibian women by teaching them to sew anthroposophical dolls. By assisting them to produce dolls, they could start making a living of their own, support their families and even put their children through their schooling careers. After all these years, the members are still going strong!
Today
The project now runs independently and all women are actively involved in the development of their products. They redesign and develop their own dolls and give them their unique character. Each lady puts her name on the tag together with a picture of herself, making each doll uniquely hers.
